Chris Giacomino was born in Boynton Beach, FL, raised in both the Ft. Lauderdale and Boca area and eventually returned to Boynton Beach in 2018 with his family. Chris was raised in the church from a young age and could always recall knowing Jesus as the only way to receive salvation. However, it was not until graduating from high school that Chris really understood the reasons behind what he believed.

Growing up, it became easy to both act and speak Christian language when he was so often surrounded by God’s people. Chris realized, years later, the main issue within his heart was a combination of both anger and animosity towards God. It was hard to see God’s plan through Chris’ parents divorcing at a young age. After getting into a good amount of trouble as a youth, Chris was sent to a school that focused on family trauma and overall development. Although this school relied heavily on both individual and group therapy sessions for their success, the true transforming work came from Chris’ time in prayer and studying God’s word. This was the first time Chris could see the power of God at work in rebuilding his heart, mind, and even mending family relationships that were broken. After completing the school’s program, Chris had the opportunity to share the gospel with a good portion of that school on his final day there.

Upon graduating high school Chris felt a strong calling into service to the local church. His love for theology and seeing the gospel play out within the local church became his passion. While attending Palm Beach State College and completing his associate degree, he met his wife Patty in a young adult’s group, and they got married in 2011. Chris and Patty share the joy of raising four children.

Chris has had the opportunity to serve in multiple children’s ministries, youth groups, young adult Bible studies as well as adult bible studies in both apologetics and Christian development throughout different churches. Chris has a heart for those who do not yet know Jesus, and often gravitates towards the broken hearted. Chris currently serves as the youth leader in Gospel City Church and loves seeing God work through the minds and hearts of the next generation!
